Swan Princess: I come from a unique religious background. Raised Mormon, I am blessed with close family and friends of many faiths: Baptist, Catholic, Muslim, non-denominational Christian, and others. After my mission in the South, that circle of friends expanded. From our interactions I have learned to see the goodness of God in all faiths. I believe in “holy envy” as I heard it put once; seeing good things in the faith of others that you want to experience in your own. There is so much we can learn from one another that will help us understand and even become stronger in our own religious convictions. I hope to be open to the beliefs and opinions of others, just as I hope they will be open to mine.
